Think about the pictures above. We are always full of good intentions. And then the holidays start.
Going into the holiday season is always a mixed bag for me. One way I love the thought of family, food and cheer, on the other hand I know with that comes the holiday weight that is going to be hard to shed next year. That used to be me in the old days. We have these wonderful German cookies called “Nurenberger Lebkuchen” which are to die for and I have a very hard time to resist, among many other chocolaty favorites. Over the years I have slowly learned that if I start incorporating a new exercise before the holidays come up, I stick with it and the damage is much less! Even with the best of intentions, we have a hard time resisting aunties pie and other foods we know are
coming our way. So instead of trying to be a bunny on carrot sticks, drawing everyone’s ridicule, I try to set myself limits and try to really enjoy the food (instead of just shoveling it down mindlessly).
I start to add small workouts before the holidays arrive so I am already on a regular schedule. I don’t even try to challenge myself or set the bar to high. Btw. have you tried our Barre class yet? (Must try! Awesome toning & shaping!) To help you stay ahead of the game, the studio has 2 (two) different offers this year:
- All 7:30 a.m. yoga classes are 50% off for single visits from Nov. 26th to January 07th, 2018. Just pick any Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m class and be there. We take care of the rest.
The second options allows for more flexibility where you have a choice of over 20 classes a week (including the 7:30 a.m.) Yoga, Barre or Gentle Yoga and you get to select 2 classes a week. The classes do not roll over, so you have to really try to make them.
- The “Holiday Thrive Pass” for $59. Valid from November 26th, 2017 through January 7th, 2018 for any 2 (two) classes a week. (That’s 8 weeks, 16 classes = $4.90 a class! You cannot beat this price and it will help you stay on track!
